When CSX and Norfolk Southern bought Conrail and split up Big Blue, NS was left in charge of much of the historical Pennsylvania Railroad lines. Lewistown Pennsylvania is on the main line from Harrisburg to Altoona and Pittsburgh. The depot has been restored by the Pennsylvania Railroad Historical Society and still functions as a depot, hosting Amtrak trains and passengers. Since this is the old Pennsy Horseshoe Curve main line over the Alleghenies, this line hosts a lot of traffic, both Amtrak and plenty of Norfolk Southern freight trains. See the action over three days, through night scenes and even some rain. Brief introductory narration is supplemented by graphics.
