Bella Volante offer for sale this very rare genuine Momo Volvo R Sport leather steering wheel, made in Italy in 1988.

It has the original Volvo R Sport logo embossed on the leather centre pad and the Volvo part number 8360870 stamped on the centre frame.

SPECIFICATIONS:

BRAND: Volvo R Sport (By Momo)

DIAMETER: 360mm

FINISH: Black leather, RED stitching

STYLE: Very slight dish

HORN BUTTON: Included and confirmed working.

HUB KIT: NOT included

CONDITION:

Good overall condition.

This steering wheel has been modified a little at some stage, as best as we can we have identified the following:

1) There have been additional holes drilled in to the centre to mount the steering wheel on a non-Momo hub.

2) The horn buttons in the spokes have had their wires cut, so these buttons no longer sound the horn.

3) The central horn button does sound the horn...it is a Momo horn button with a reproduction Volvo R Sport logo.

4)The leather has been redyed with black automotive grade leather dye.

There are numerous marks on the rim.

The stitching is complete and tight.

The centre pad is very good.

This is obviously not a perfect example of this very rare steering wheel but still in great overall shape and very useable.
