1858 Boston MA to San Francisco CA folded letter. 10 cent 1857 issue, appears to be the type III stamp, Scott #33 (scott $190 used, $230 on cover). Stamp is SE at left; centered low. Boston red CDS and large black paid in circular grid killer; with extensive writeup and notes from prior owner.
