Barrow v Leek Town – FA Challenge Trophy Final Programme and Ticket – Saturday 19^th May 1990

 

This item is the matchday programme and ticket for the Barrow v Leek Town FA Challenge Trophy Final which took place on Saturday 19^th May 1990 at Wembley Stadium.

 

For the record, Barrow won 3-0.  I was there - supporting Leek Town - so not the best of days.   

 

The programme is in excellent condition.  40 pages.  The programme is A4 size – 29.7 cm x 21 cm (11.7 inches x 8.3 inches).  The picture is the actual programme; not a stock photo.  The teamsheet page is also shown in the pictures.  The ticket is only small; not your usual Wembley style ticket (see picture).

Also included is the Evening Sentinel FA Trophy Final souvenir newspaper from Tuesday 15th May 1990, which has a picture of Leek Town Manager, Neil Baker and Captain, Chris McMullen (who I went to school with) on the front cover.  This item is in good condition with some yellowing to the newspaper, which is to be expected given its age.  As can be seen in the picture, it has a crease across the middle where it has been folded for over 30 years!
