This album is absolute bloody genius, and that’s the truth. It rocks from start to finish, and the 16 odd minutes of samples on the player are not enough. Sure, it lets you know what to expect, but these are works of art that shouldn't be cut about and spliced together. You really need to listen to them in full. This isn't a sales pitch, it’s from someone who’s a fan, and who’s sick of the dross that gets played on the radio when pearls like this, don’t get a look in.

The Sirocco Bros don’t make concept or themed albums, they’re 45rpm guys who treat every recording like it was the next single. When there’s enough material in the can, an album gets released. It’s the only way to go as far as I’m concerned.

Stand out tracks are all of them! If push comes to shove I’d say “Spell Bound” as there's nothing quite like it, and the alt take of “Knocking On The Devil’s Door”, really lets you have it. Difficult to single any out really, but there’s the opening track with it’s sublime harmonica. I could bang on all day, but I won’t. Just buy it!
