This clutch was bought for my jaguar mark 2 340 .

It is the later 9/9.5 diaphragm clutch fitted to all the 4.2’s. And 3.4/3.8

It fitted the flywheel perfectly but the clutch fork was to far away .

On closer inspection the flange is missing from the clutch cover !!

Upon all checking 4.2 this clutch cover is only fitted to cars with the roller bearing thrust bearing - all 4.2 used the carbon bearing up to the series 3 4.2 with the rover gearbox .

So this will fit any manual 4.2 but you would need to change to a roller bearing type release , rather than the carbon set up .

You might find you could swap your excisting flange , but you would need use of a fly press etc etc .

Clutch plate could be sold separately, it is made in England and will fit any 3.4 /3.8 4.2 manual car with a diaphragm clutch.

This item was made in England and is partly bolted and not rivited along the edges - unlike the new one I bought as a kit !!

It was bolted in place on the garage floor but never operated !!

This is not a Chinese Borg and beck - a genuine uk old probably asbestos clutch looking at it !!

It will give years of service and won’t fall to bits !!!
