An unusual silver teapot, dating to London 1790.

The shape in typical late 18th Century neoclassical style.

With straight spout opposite a carved wooden handle.

Decorated throughout with Chinese style people and scenes.

Fully hallmarked for Charles Chesterman II, London 1790.

A fine teapot with unusual styling.


Condition

In  antique condition with expected wear.

With minor dings, surface wear and scratches throughout.

Some solder visible at base of handle.

Interior heavily discoloured from use.

Hallmarks are clear and legible.
