Antique Austrian Silver Cigar Cutter

Description
A very fine antique silver cigar cutter, in the form of a stag's head. The realistically modelled stag with open mouth and large sweeping antlers. The body is made from antler, partially overlaid with silver leaves and acorns around the stag's head. At the end of the antler, in front of the stag's head, is the cigar cutting mechanism. Hallmarked with the Austrian dog's head mark. With no apparent maker's mark, though probably made by Wenzel Brezina. A very handsome piece of good size and excellent quality.

Condition
In good antique condition with just expected wear. Some slight corrosion on mechanism.
