Pair Large Coin Silver Spoons, Clark & Pelletreau 1822


Description

A pair of large and fine American coin silver spoons.

In the hourglass pattern, with a heavy gauge of silver throughout.

Hallmarked to stems for Gregory Clark and Maltby Pelletreau.

Clark & Pelletreau were partnered in Charleston, South Carolina 1819-1822.

Also stamped with French import weevil mark, used 1864 -1893.

A fine piece of American silver spoons with seldom seen maker's marks.

Condition

In good antique condition with expected wear throughout.

 A good, heavy gauge of silver throughout.

Lots of surface wear and minor dings throughout.

Maker's marks are clear and legible.
