Oil on canvas. No visible signatures? Age: Ca. 1870-1900.  Absolute stunning Pre-Raphaelite-style British school oil with a Naiad. A female nymph who in classical mythology was the guardian of springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of fresh water. Framed in its authentic 19th century golden salon frame. An extraordinary oil, filled with tiny details and atmosphere. Museum quality and worth of further research.A certificate of authenticity will be included with this work.



Condition:
