• Each mat measures just short of 4" (9.5 cm) square
• The mats are decorated with scenes set in the Victorian era - coach and horses arriving at their destination - fabulous period architecture in the background - highly detailed scenes; these designs were very popular in the 1950's / 60s; the scenes are set against a pale ivory background; the corners are gently rounded and the rims are finished in gold; the bases benefit from a cork protective covering to avoid damage to furniture; the set comes in its original card box which includes an interior fold over cover in burgundy with small white polka dots
• Condition report - preowned vintage; some very slight wear to the box but still in great condition; the mats themselves have no damage to the top images - suggesting they have never been used or maybe saved for 'best' and taken great care of
