When refrigerators hit the market, Westinghouse started including clear glass refrigerator dishes that came with the refrigerator.  You could use them to both store food in and bake in them.  This is an original Westinghouse refrigerator covered dish with their famous "fin" handle.  This dish on the interior, at the top, measures 8 3/8" long, 4 1/2" in width, and is 3 1/2" deep.  This piece has only a few minor chigger bites at the top inside rim that were probably caused by banging a metal spoon on the side to get the last of the scalloped potatoes or meatloaf off of the spoon, as the top lid and rim have no chigger bites.  Enjoy!!
