Thrifting find. "Electrolite" vintage ceramic or art pottery figural swan TV lamp, made by Electro Manufacturing Corp., Chicago. Circa 1940s to 1950s. Please note there is no wiring or sockets for this light. I can think of some fun options - it might work well as a planter or votive candle holder, battery tealight holder, pencil or brush holder, or you could have wiring and a socket put in. The first two pictures show it with a tealight candle inside. There is a side hole for an on/off switch and a hole in the base for a cord. This lamp measures about 7 inches long, 3 inches wide and 6 inches tall. Two molded in elongated feet. It retains most of the original Electrolite sticker, as shown. There is scuffing on the side as shown in the last picture, and there are scratches and glaze imperfections as well. There is crazing on the inside around the hole for the cord. No chips, cracks, or other issues that I could find. Really a sweet and hard to find addition to your retro, vintage, or midcentury decor. Please take a look at the pictures for details and condition, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. I pack with care and lots of bubble wrap.
