ESP LTD EC-257 Black Satin 2012 7-String Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a ESP LTD EC-257 7-string electric guitar in Black Satin finish. Built in Indonesia in 2012, this guitar features a set-neck construction Mahogany body, a 3-piece Mahogany neck and a 24 X-Jumbo fret Roasted Jatoba fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with black hardware including a Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece along with a set of LTD branded sealed tuning machines.The pickups are a pair of ESP LH-150 humbuckers which are wired to a 3-way selector switch, bridge volume, neck volume and a master tone control with a push/pull coil split.

The Thin "U" shape profile feels incredibly ergonomic, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck. The Roasted Jatoba fingerboard and X-Jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 15.75” radius and string spacing provides maximum hand comfort for chords playing the lower register, whilst allowing greater speed and cleaner string bending as the player moves up the neck, great for more technically demanding playing styles. The single cutaway body design allows for unobstructed access to the higher register, whilst generous body contours provide comfort when playing in a seated position.

The duo of ESP LH-150 humbuckers have a high output and a powerful tone. The ESP LH-150N in the neck position provides deep low ends which are well defined and great for fast, smooth lead lines. The middle position has punchy and crisp mids whilst the ESP LH-150B in the bridge position has aggressive, clear and articulate highs. The push/pull coil split feature adds extra versatility for the player to explore, providing a well-rounded package of tones that is perfect for more modern, progressive styles of playing.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall good condition, the headstock displays a moderate chip to the finish to the top treble side edge revealing the wood beneath. Similar chipping can be found to the bass side top edge, which has been filled with a marker pen. Further Light scratching is apparent to all aspects of the headstock, visible under direct lighting at certain angles. 

Neck: Overall very good condition, light spots of discoloration are apparent to the back of the neck. The satin finish has buffed to a gloss through regular use. The fingerboard edges demonstrate light indentation beside the frets, not affecting playability and cannot be felt under the finger. 

Overall good condition, multiple instances of finish chipping are apparent. This is most notable to the front face lower bout on the treble side and has been filled with marker to conceal the chip somewhat. A more notable chip to both the finish and body wood is apparent to the rear edge on the bass side lower bout, where the previous owner has attempted to cover with black marker pen, less successfully than other instances. Buckle rash is apparent to the rear face by the switch cavity, causing discoloration of the finish.
