This is a vintage solid brass Water Meter & Utility Box Lid KEY – and it is still in excellent overall condition! I have intentionally not cleaned or media blasted this Key, I wanted to leave the decades of original patina on it, and let the new owner choose how to finish and present it.
There is no corrosion, it shows some light wear from age and normal use, and it is very straight (see photos). There are no markings or brand on the Key, and it has a pointed key tip and measures 6” top to bottom, with a curved handle.
