This sporran is handmade with the best quality leather & grey rabbit fur to very high standards.

Sporrans are made using traditional methods from high quality, real leather hide and are large enough to hold a wallet, mobile phone or keys…very handy on a kilt with no pockets!

Chrome finish celtic cantle.

3 chained tassels with ball caps.

Comes with a chainstrap.

MEASURMENTS :  7" (18cm) across & 9" (23cm) down.

HOW TO WEAR: A sporran is worn at the front of your kilt and should sit centre to your waistcoat. It should be sitting just underneath your waistcoat, but not touching. The leather straps at the end of the chain strap fasten together at the back and can be put through the kilt straps. The chain straps should always sit on top of the belt buckles to ensure the sporran does not fall down!

SPORRAN HISTORY: A survival of the medieval purse, the sporran was the Highlander's pocket they didn't have. They were simple in design and usually gathered at the top by basic drawstrings or by thongs with small tassels.

OCCASION: These sporrans are worn at formal events such as weddings and would typically be worn with your Prince Charlie outfit. A key feature of the Dress Sporran is the metal cantle fastening made from silver or pewter. These are made entirely from black or brown leather and are used for less formal events.
