We provide a free fitting kit with all of the turbo's we sell, this includes an oil filled syringe for safer pre-priming and all the gaskets, studs and nuts (depending on application) required to do the job professionally.

Important - Oil Feed Pipe Renewal

For a vast range of applications, Driven 2 Automotive supplies oil feed pipes, oil return pipes and oil strainers for turbochargers. For good workshop practice and the longevity of your precious new turbo, we wholeheartedly recommend replacing all of these parts at the same time. Clogged up or damaged oil pipes may possibly be the reason the turbo failed in the first place, and with oil starvation as the number one cause for turbo failures worldwide, it really shouldn't be ignored.

Some applications are particularly prone to blockages in the turbo oil feed pipe due to their poor design, eventually this can lead to potentially terminal damage. To reduce this risk, we recommend you fit a new oil feed pipe kit when replacing the turbo. Our standard turbo warranty does not cover oil starvation so this is very important.

Warning - The Huge Risk of Counterfeit and Aftermarket 'Copy' Turbochargers

When it’s time to replace your car’s turbocharger, don’t take risks. When your turbocharger is spinning at 300,000 rpm, and operating up to 1050 degrees Celsius, almost the same isn’t good enough.

Copy Concerns
Some copy turbos fail literally within hours of installation – and the effects can be catastrophic. While bearing problems are most commonplace, the bolts joining the turbine housing to the center housing are also known to ‘relax’, leading to gas leakage, mechanical damage and oil leakage that can in-turn contaminate the catalytic converter or the DPF system causing failure to these expensive parts also.

Any attempt at VNT^™ turbo remanufacturing using non-genuine substitute parts and different processes than those ones from the Turbo manufacturer, is equally fraught with difficulty and can lead to potentially serious problems.

Counterfeit and Copy Turbocharger Problems Include:

Major conflict with the engine management system.
Too low air flow/pressure, causing poor throttle response, poor overall performance and increased emissions.
Incorrect fuel/air ratios causing excessively high temperatures, damaging both the turbo and the engine.
Too high low/pressure levels leading to the over-speeding of the turbo - Results in the compressor wheels bursting and damaging the turbo/engine.
Compatibility is never 100% guaranteed.
Poor quality materials results in a far shorter lifespan.
Fitment isn't guaranteed - Mounting holes and gaskets can be misaligned, causing potential air and oil leaks as well as poor quality studs/bolts 'relaxing' from heat cycles.
OE testing standards are never met, research videos online actually show counterfeit turbos exploding off secured test bench equipment.
Upon complete failure, they're not designed to keep the internals within the housing, causing damage to other engine parts.
Hidden costs and misleading price due to their shorter lifespan
Seller is more than likely to have no product liability insurance.
