This auction is for a fantastic original WWII era A-2 flight jacket. A helpful eBay user helped me narrow down that it is likely made by J.A. Dubow judging by the collar/pockets. Also thought it was possibly pre-war model and maybe private purchase/not government issue judging by zipper / lining. Nice original named jacket, has name tag and pin on chest too. Leather is in fantastic shape considering the age of the jacket. Faint remnants of US Army Air Force stencil on left sleeve near shoulder. Did note 2 pinholes on right chest from there also being a pin there at some point. A few stitches undone at one shoulder seam where it attaches to sleeve. Do note there is some white powdery layer on inside of front pockets/near some seams, something to do with the leather from age. You can see the original size 36 tag inside pocket. I didn't do much research into the fellow it is named to, just found his obituary online and that was it. See pics to get an idea of size. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

If paid for in the morning I can typically ship the same day, but if not I will try and get the item out the next day. Thanks for understanding.
