RARE vintage box of Dickhead Matches by Dick Smith
Released in 1999, a pun of RedHeads matches, as that company was sold to foreign buyers.
They were near impossible to find in shops. I got mine from the only place I could find that had them (back in 2000), which was in Brisbane CBD. They have been stored in a box inside a box in a cupboard, so the condition is near perfect.

We would have to be complete dickheads to let most of our famous Australian brands be taken over by foreign companies. Brands such as Vegemite, Aeroplane Jelly, Arnott's, Speedo and Redhead Matches are in overseas hands.
