This DVD will NOT play on standard DVD players in USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Chile.

This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

o Most of the DVD manufacturers don't state whether subtitles are optional or not. Unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to inspect every DVD title to determine whether subtitles can be removed or not. Therefore, when purchasing the DVD, which contains subtitles, the assumption should be that subtitles are not removable. However, you can try DVD's menu to turn off subtitles or try 'Subtitles' button on your DVD player's remote control to turn off the subtitles track. If these steps don't work, then unfortunately subtitles are not optional.

Synopsis:
Lapses, Regrets and Qualms: Lapses, Regrets and Qualms is a forgottrn reel (the 6B) from My Seven Places. Not a bonus or a post-scriptum, or an addendum, or an apostil, this is a film saved from drowning, like Moses, that relates a day in the life of Boris Lehman (but as he says himself, every day is different, even when they look the same). A History of Hair (Siberia): After a journey of over 9,000 kilometers, somewhere at the end of the world, the filmmaker arrives in a former autonomous Jewish enclave imagined by Stalin, in order to find traces of his name. But the end is also about death, stopping, not moving, and the allegory of the train stopping in the camps. Sohe intersperses this journey with encounters with people, with others, who in turn become the film's subject and storytellers. Funeral (On the Art of Dying): This filme is the 'last' episode of my auto-cine-biographic work Babel, which covers more that thirty years of mu life and it started in 1983 with 'Letter to My Friends who stayed in Belgium'. It can be considered my living will. Ghosts From The Past (How History Got Into Me): How to talk about History, the big one and the small one, ours and that of each of us? Watching television, browsing the Internet, rummaging through the stock of world archives? Or more simply, going back to our own images that built us?
