Offered today is this lovely Bucherer ladies' pendant watch. Years and years ago I purchased it at a central Iowa estate sale. Today is the first time it has seen daylight in at least 15 years. I wound it almost three hours ago. It has been keeping accurate time but it has not been serviced so I would recommend having it cleaned and adjusted for long-term reliable timekeeping. It is a daily wind watch.

The watch is in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear. It is 17 jewel and is a manual wind and set watch. It does not use a battery. The dial, hands and numbers are very clean with no discoloration on the metal or dust under the crystal. I could not easily remove the back so no photos of the inside are available. The chain it is hanging from appears original. It is 800 silver with a gold wash. I am assuming the watch case is also 800 silver with gold vermeil but without removing the back I cannot guarantee it. The black enamel has lovely hand painted rose buds on the front and a fully bloomed rose on the back. There are no chips in the enamel. The watch case measures 30mm in diameter. The chain measures 28" long. Each link is enameled front and back. One of the links has a surface chip on the top layer. Please see the last photo. All of the other enamel links are in excellent condition. I will leave any polishing to the buyer. A soft polishing cloth for gold or silver is recommended, no paste or liquid cleaner.

The watch comes with what may be the original box. The watch will not fit down inside the circle which seems unusual. I would think there would be a larger divot for the watch. There is a recessed area for the chain. The box has light wear.

Please examine all 24 photos for detail and email with questions. Any bright white spots are reflection from lights in the room. USPS shipping will include insurance. Thanks for looking!
