Set of TWO (2) matching original vintage EAMES Herman Miller fiberglass side shells upholstered in Alexander Girard-attributed plaid fabric.

Overall excellent vintage condition with no cracks or integral damage. 

Narrow shock mount configuration, which makes these shells compatible with most Eames bases. 

Some typical superficial scuffs on the fiberglass shell and rubber bumper, and minor indentation on the cushion from storage (which are expected to smooth out in time with use), but no cracks or integral damage.  

This is about as good as they come.  The cushion on the seat is still soft and not petrified.  

Originally mounted on swivel bases, so it the bottom has a little "sunburn" mark from where those bases had been.  

Narrow mount, so it should fit any standard Eames base with narrow mount configuration (see sample photo of shell on top of a recent Eiffel base).

Each shell comes with new screws and washers.

The terracotta fiberglass is a stunning color that brings warmth to any room, and the gray-yellow-celadon melange plaid upholstery complements it beautifully.

This seldom comes to market, especially in this condition, so don't miss out.
