ABOUT THE ARTIST:

FAILE is the Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. Since its inception in 1999, FAILE has been known for a wide ranging multimedia practice recognizable for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage.


INSPIRATION STATEMENT FROM FAILE ABOUT THIS ART:

Seattle was a fun one for us to play with. We’ve always had a curiosity in the notorious airplane hijacker, D.B. Cooper, who’s remained at large since he parachuted out of a Seattle-bound plane with $200,000 in November 1971. The FBIs only unsolved case of air piracy in the US
