• Crafted by Royal Doulton at their pottery in Burslem, Staffordshire around 1953
• Rare design known as 'Pansy'; design number 6402
• Cranberry coloured mottled background with a pale blue mottled interior brim; decorated with the most beautiful hand painted pansies in shades of yellow, purple and lilac with black centres and green foliage; the pansies afford excellent coverage of the vase featuring on both front and back with the flowers partly creeping round both sides; elegantly shaped with a wide entrance at the neck; footed to the base

• Measures 7" (18 cm) deep; just over 5" (13.5 cm) wide
• Condition report - free from cracks, crazing and chips; colours still clear and vibrant
