Amazingly Rare 1930's Nina Ricci Couture France Two Piece Rayon and Linen Dress with Overlay Top - still has original label

This is a very rare piece the only 1930's Nina Ricci dresses I am finding are at museums, such as The Met

A combination of linen and rayon (but might be silk, feels like it). The front collar and bodice has two buttons which button over the floral fabric at collar, the floral fabric then drapes over at back of collar and buttons are two areas. Fitted, darted waist and loose overlay top/jacket has beautiful balloon wide sleeves. The whole outfit is a design of amazing craftsmanship.

Colors are a light lavender and a mix of dark purple/silver and white

Condition: This dress is being sold AS IS - The outfit has been dry cleaned but many of the stains still remain and did not come out, definitely was not stored properly.There are stains at front, back, sides all over the dress, marks and discoloration in areas and 4 tears in the fabric of the right lower part of sleeve. And a very tiny pinhole at right sleeve.It is still wearable however I would handle this outfit will great care, it is over 100yrs oldWith all the condition issues - PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS - this is a very well worn well loved outfit/dress

Also I have confirmed with my dry cleaner this two piece Nina Ricci dress was steamed not pressed so there are no press marks or sheen from the cleaning. And there is no dry rot to the dress so it is still sturdy.

I hope this dress/outfit goes to someone who collects couture clothing or a museum, I have not found another one of this dress online of Nina Riccis
