Judas Priest's new album "Invincible Shield", their 19th album in 6 years

Judas Priest performed at the 6-band metal festival "Power Trip" held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California from October 6 to 8, 2023. Just after Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" was played to announce the start of the show, the release of a new album was officially announced on the video screen set up on the stage. The album is titled "Invincible Shield. It will be the band's first original studio album in six years and 19th in total since 2018's "Firepower," which reached No. 5 on the U.S. charts and was their highest charting album ever. The band will begin a UK tour beginning in Glasgow on March 11, 2024, with a show at London's OVO Wembley Arena on March 21 of the same month. Judas Priest, whose career spans more than 50 years, has sold more than 50 million copies of all its albums and was inducted into the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" in 2022.
