This stone effigy is possibly a shoe mold.  A bit of history, my family has been on this farmland since the early 1800s.  It was inhabited by Cherokee Indians prior to my Great, Great Grandfather receiving a Land Grant.  My father told the story that through the years his family found many Indian relics and arrowheads, pots etc. scattered throughout the land here.  There was even an old log cabin on the land which later collapsed.  This particular artifact is a partial foot.  It is appears smooth from use and we have always suspected it was used as a shoe mold.  My Dad collected many pieces and marked them as to where they were found.  So we know this piece was found here on our farm.  The Cherokee lived here and many of our neighbors have discovered and identified other relics attributable to the Cherokee.

If you are interested in an unusual piece of Native American history this may be the item for you.  Due to the rare nature and history of the item I will not be entertaining offers but will provide additional information on it's discovery point and history with our family.  If you are not familiar with the Cherokee history I encourage you to study these great people.  Will be carefully wrapped and shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
