Emilio Pucci’s pattern prowess is now on display for pool-bound hommes, thanks to a collaboration with Orlebar Brown. In a 20-piece collection, the storied Italian brand brings their print expertise to the forefront, highlighted by the swim label’s tailored and very European shapes and cuts. Swim shorts are a big part of the collection, for both men and women, and each one is covered in a vibrant play of colors. While there’s not a single bikini here, there are a selection of multi-functional rash guards that are surfboard-friendly.

The graphics were sourced from the Pucci archive and include the Baiadera, Labirinto, and Dischi prints, all of which were created between 1960 and 1970. “Some prints date. A Pucci print never does. In fact, this collaboration is very much of the moment–print has moved from being quintessentially a female staple to becoming an accepted part of the stylish man’s wardrobe,” said Adam Brown, founder of Orlebar Brown, in a statement.
