Frequently Asked Questions;

How many meters should I order? A general rule of thumb is to allow for 10% wastage. Wastage will include blocks that have to be cut down as part of the installation process but also allows for blocks that are set aside due to natural variations.

Can I secret nail this product to the subfloor? It is recommended that you fully adhere this product to the subfloors.

Always consult a professional PARQUET floor fitter prior to installation.

Grading;

PRIME GRADE – This is the highest and cleanest grade available in wood flooring. This wood is cut from the centre of the tree, the wood from the centre of the tree is much more uniform and has far less knots & imperfections. It is the highest and cleanest grade available with least natural variations and only small knots.

NATURE GRADE – This is a mixture of PRIME A grade and Nature B grade. Nature grade will contain small knots and beautiful natural variations. This grade does contain natural variations and may show minimal signs of historical insect inhabitation that will be filled during the installation process. All the oak is thoroughly treated during the manufacturing process.

RUSTIC/CHARACTER GRADE – This is a very rustic grade. Character Grade will have lots of natural variations including large knots and some splits to give an amazing rustic feel about your parquet. The blocks will also have signs of historical insect inhabitation that will be filled during the installation process. All the oak is thoroughly treated during the manufacturing process.
