A880 Vintage WHITING & DAVIS Silver Metal Mesh Evening Hand Bag Purse Cut Out Silver plated Frame, kiss lock, chain strap, in the four inner corners of the frame is Brand's signature and numbered 2846. Weight- almost 8 Oz.

I didn't try to remove the tarnish from the silver finish on the frame, as this shows that the frame is silver plated.

There are scuffs to the silver finish of the frame and a yellowish spot on one side of the mesh as shown in the picture. Please the bag is almost antique and needs to be handled with care.
