An early 20th Century Italian silver cameo brooch/pendant. The shell is carved with the portrait of a young girl with long flowing hair. It has a decorative mount in silver dotted with marcasites which gives added sparkle to the brooch. To the reverse is a pin with simple 'c' type catch. It also has a loop with bail attachment to the top of the brooch so that you can use it as a pendant if you wish. It is also stamped 800 to the reverse for 800 grade silver.
