Lledo Days Gone Diecast Model
LP3002
Horse Drawn Delivery Van
Chivers Olde English Marmalade
Limited Edition

Jack Odell, one of the founders of the Matchbox diecast company, founded Lledo (Odell backwards) in 1982, and launched the "Days Gone" range of models in 1983, taking over a market previously popularised by the Matchbox "Models of Yesteryear" series.

The Horse Drawn Delivery Van was one of the original line-up of models in the Days Gone range, introduced in 1983. The promotional market became Lledo's bread and butter, with companies and organisations able to order limited runs of a model with their own livery, as promotional or souvenir items.

This model was produced in 1988 as a promotional model for Chivers, to promote their Olde English Thick Cut Marmalade. This was a Limited Edition run, with only 5,000 models made.

Good pre-owned condition in original box. Box has some wear and creasing, but no serious rips or splits and no taped-up corners. Model itself is clean and near mint condition. See photos - all photos show actual item.
