Here for sale is a Ultra Rare Vintage 1989 Pack-In-Video 'GHOSTBUSTERS II' LCD Handheld electronic game in Acceptable overall cosmetic condition and in Perfect working order with a Truly Deep Dark LCD, Perfect Contrast, Responsive controls, loud crystal clear sound and a very clean battery bay & generally healthy terminals and sports the original securely locking battery cover.

Japan had their own handheld game, this time officially based on Ghostbusters II. Released by Pack-In Video in 1989 (under sub-license from Activision) it鈥檚 very desirable amongst fans and can sell for as much as 拢拢拢's nowadays. The action takes place in New York Central Park, and Ray appears to be the protagonist. More creative than most, the aim is to fight ghosts, collect toys and keep baby Oscar safe, all while ensuring the proton pack has enough juice to keep playing. Although a Japanese-only game, the case is clearly based on the western NES controller. The connection presumably being that the Ghostbusters used a NES Advantage to control the almighty Statue of Liberty. A little tenuous, we鈥檒l agree, but it鈥檚 the best connection we can think of.

" This game console has been cleaned by myself prior to sale (as has my entire game collection) to ensure it reaches you in the cleanest possible aesthetic condition, from a good outer clean to diminish any surface dirt/grime & stains followed by a surface polish/buffing to bring out the best sheen possible. It is then finished with the display screen getting a good deep clean & polish (this does not mean it will look like new by any means, more just that the years of built up dirt/grime/grease have been diminished/partly removed and the pictures will always form a better understanding of the games condition). Many of my games have also had the entire games control system deep cleaned & serviced to ensure maximum re-playability (where applicable/possible) and improve general responsiveness. This game also comes from a Smoke and Pet free home.

This game remains in perfect working order and has been thoroughly tested and no faults/issues have been found whatsoever. Controls are responsive/firm, LCD display is Deep Dark and crisp with perfect contrast and the sound is loud & crystal clear. Battery Bay is very clean and the battery terminals appear in extremely good health with very little prior signs of corrosion. Battery cover is present in acceptable cosmetic order with original backing foam still adhered and it closes/locks tightly/securely (some minor damage to the top right corner is apparent, see pic 11) but does not effect the battery cover locking securely.

Aesthetically the condition of the item is Acceptable overall. LCD display remains in very good overall cosmetic condition with a light to moderate amount of surface marks/scratches applied throughout. Front Black Sticker/Decal is in Fair cosmetic order with a light to moderate amount of surface marks/wear/scratches applied throughout. The game has suffered from some yellowing/sun-bleaching prior but the colors remain semi-bright/vivid generally. There will be various other marks/scratches/blemishes/discoloration across the unit from it's age and prior usage but this is to be expected on most used vintage games of this age. Please study the pictures carefully to see the exact item you shall receive. If you require more pictures, I shall be happy to provide you with those on request.

Item requires 2 x (AA/MN1400) Alkaline Batteries (which are not included in this sale).

No Box or Instructions are included within this sale. 

The Item is sold as is with no returns being offered so please do study the pictures again very carefully as they form the basis of the sale and the item pictured herein is the exact item that you shall receive.

In the event that the item has been found to be "Not as Described and/or in a Faulty condition", then I shall happily accept a return and reimburse you the full item price paid but you be will expected to pay the return postage yourself. I also expect the item to come back in the exact condition it was sold to you in and that the unique tamper-proof security seal to be in place and no evidence of it being tampered with. I also expect that the unit has not been opened under any circumstances prior to the return.

This item has been opened prior to sale and serial numbers, identification numbers, model numbers, are noted down and internal pictures are also taken/recorded for proof on all items. Also invisible security marks are also in-place in particular area's for both piece of mind and to ensure that the sale/return is always accurately represented/recorded.
