Heavy duty front zipper that also unzips from the bottom to ease stress on garment when sitting.
Wide fabric flap that covers the front zipper with 7 snap closures.
High collar that zips up pat the chin, for added warmth when needed.

Four front zippered pockets with a fabric pull-tab. All pockets are covered with a fabric flap.
Zippered side vents with mesh lining to cool-down when necessary.

A stain on one elbow and maybe a tiny little mark in the fabric, here or there, but nothing to write home about.
A little bit of lint and/or pilling on the black fleece lining. A little bit of wear on a seam under the arm, near the vent flap.

Columbia's quality and construction techniques are unsurpassed. They know what they are doing and put so many bells and whistles in their jackets, it's just amazing. I buy them whenever I find them and always have a nice variety for sale.
Over the years I have perfected my cleaning technique, sometime taking over a week to let a stain "marinate" in my cleaning solution. I am also a professional seamstress and know how to mend what needs fixing. I trim every loose thread, remove any pilling and lint, add a new zipper pull if it is missing, and on the rare occassion when a seam opens up, I mend that too. Not everything can be repaired so I take pictures of any imperfections or wear and add text and arrows to each picture so you know exactly what you are getting.
I admit the perfectionist in me takes over and I often spend an inordinate amount of timing preparing a garment for sale, but I take pride in everything I offer in my store. You are getting the best I can offer on every single item that I sell.
