Kramer Jersey Star Candy Apple Red 2022 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Kramer Jersey Star Electric Guitar from 2022 in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Indonesia, this bolt-on neck construction guitar consists of an Alder body, Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a Floyd Rose 1000 Series Tremolo bridge, die cast tuners with pearloid buttons, mother of pearl star inlays, and three Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups. There is a Seymour Duncan JB in both the bridge and middle positions, and a Seymour Duncan JN in the neck position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, 5-way pickup selector, and two individual coil tap switches for the bridge and middle pickups. 

In 2020, Kramer started to reissue these iconic Richie Sambora signature guitars as part of their Original Series. They are incredibly well made instruments, and as close to the original as you could possibly get. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with its  Kramer Elliptical C profile and Satin finish providing for smooth and effortless navigation up and down the neck. The Maple fingerboard provides a smooth surface under the fingers, whilst the 16” radius and Medium Jumbo frets assist with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a smooth, quick playing experience in any position. The Double cutaway body design provides uninhibited access to the upper register whilst the Floyd Rose tremolo and Locking nut maintain rock solid tuning for those whammy bar gymnastics.

The triple Seymour Duncan humbuckers sound absolutely incredible when really driven. Really crisp, clear tones in the bridge position with five different pickup configurations to play with and end with the creamy, warm tone of the neck pickup. These are also paired nicely with the Floyd Rose tremolo system which feels great and is perfect for dive bombs and pinch harmonic squeals. The coil-tap switches allow the player to discover a whole new range of tones and combinations, making this guitar extremely versatile.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Very light denting is present to the bass side edge of the front face.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Light denting is present to the fingerboard and rear of the neck, only visible under direct light from certain angles. The fingerboard denting is present to the higher register, but can not be felt under the finger in playing position. The denting to the rear of the neck is most noticeable to the lower register on the treble side. This can lightly be felt under the finger in playing position.  

Body: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front and rear face, only visible under direct light from certain angles. This is most noticeable to the rear face treble side. A small crack to the finish is present to the bass side of the neck pocket. This does not flex under pressure, therefore causing no structural concern. 

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod Condition: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 4mm)

Hardware Condition: Fully functional with light signs of wear. The back plate of the neck pocket shows oxidisation. Tremolo bar included. 

Structural Condition: No concerns or issues to note. 

Height of the string from the 12th Fret- Treble 1.5mm - Bass 2mm
