I’ve only ever seen two of these and I own both of them.

They were made to be used as either an umbrella pot or a jardiniere stand.

They were originally sold with a wooden base and a wooden top for use as a jardiniere stand. This one unfortunately doesn’t have them. They would be very easy to reproduce, should the new owner want to and I’d be happy to give them the design of them.

As huge as this is it has survived all these years in really good order. It has a very old stapled repair to a crack up one side from the foot, an old chip to the foot, which can’t be seen when stood, or even without close inspection as it’s been coloured to match at the time I would have thought.

Then other than that it just has a small ding not much deeper than out of the glaze, which annoyingly I did when packing for a move a few years ago. 😖

Fully signed inside for C H Brannam, dated for 1899 and with artists marks JD for James Dewdney.

It stands in at an impressive 30 inches tall which is two and a half feet!

The diameter is about 9 inches.

This one is the larger of the two that I own, the other one is also being listed.

Been in my collection for about 30 years now and only selling regretfully because needs must.

This would be either collection only, or my delivering it personally due to the size of it.

Delivery in person would be charged at cost of fuel plus an hourly fee for journey time.

I would however be more than happy to load the car up with a many pieces as you’d like to buy from me and bring them all together!! 😃

Please take the time to look at the photos as they do form an integral part of the description.
