For sale one fully working and professionally restored vintage record player(please read the details of work carried out on one of the attached photos). It really is in fine order and I doubt very much that there is a better example out there. I think this was made in 1959/1960. You will notice that the cartridge headshell has been nibbled away by a previous owner attempting to fit a larger cartridge at some point without using a spacer. I point this out as the only real cosmetic issue but it never bothered me and I am quite pernickety! The cartridge currently installed is a repro of the one that would originally have been installed. I have probably spent about £200 including the initial purchase and service/repair work so this could well represent an absolute bargain to the next owner. If it doesn't sell then I will donate to a museum of some kind but would much rather someone put it to better use and play records on it regularly! I am only listing this as I need to clear out some items to make space and just can't justify its very infrequent use nowadays. Happy to answer any queries and please note this is collection only.
