How it is made..
The metalic gold and copper pigment is brushed onto the silicone mould. I then have infilled it with black pigmented epoxy resin. If some black lines show, this is the black showing through where i didnt brush the gold/copper pigment onto the mould. Making each piece unique.
General resin disclaimer.....
Once the epoxy is fully cured, it will be able to stand heat of around 90⁰C You can place hot cups of coffee, bowls, plates but never hot pans right off the hob or out of the oven. Do not submerge in hot water, wipe clean ONLY and do not scrub or use solvents to clean. I also would not hang resin works directly above a fire or radiator. Any resin items that state food safe, have been made with food safe epoxy resin. I do still recommend placing something between the surface and the food. i.e, cake case or a sheet of acetate. Do not cut directly on resin surface. This is a standard for all epoxies.

N.B. I get asked why my resin products are so dear. My answer is that resin is extremely dear to buy, for a good quality one. I do not calculate into the price the cost of embellishments or a wage for myself, I work for less than half the National Minimum Wage and I work 7 days a week in my Crafting. Why? Because I love to create and give people, who dont have the oppertunity to make things themselves, the chance to buy mine.
