Extremely cool and rare antique 1920s–30s fraternal 40/8 costume dress featuring the name 'Lawrence' in felt across the front and 'Kans' in felt on the right sleeve for the Kansas order, large dark blue peter pan collar with what I assume are the fraternal order numbers embroidered in red on them, plus big blue fabric covered button, deep pockets and cuffs! Great open smock shape. These garments are still quite mysterious, no one is absolutely sure of their meaning: I've also heard that they could be from a 1920s organization honoring WWI veterans.
