MEITO CHINA SERVING PLATTER

Vintage Discontinued Pattern

This unique serving platter, plate or tray,  was my great uncles, and has been stored away for at least 40 years.

Marked on back: Meito China, Made in Japan, Hand Painted. (See photo)

Could not find the exact pattern on china replacement sites, the floral arrangement is similar to MEI 1271 but this has a different trim around the rim.  White center, yellowish cream color on the outside, and the trim is gold ribbon and shield type pattern.  Best to zoom in on the photos.

Platter is Oval shape,  16" X 12"  and is in very good to excellent condition, no chips or cracks.

Platter weights close to 4 1/2 pounds alone, shipping weight will be over 5 pounds.

Also selling a set of 6 dinner plates of the same Meito pattern.
