This daguerreotype features a young lady wearing an unusual striped and patterned dress. She also wore a mourning hair necklace. 

The 1/6 plate is not sealed and it measures about 2.75 x 3.25 inches. The image is not housed in a case. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself.
