A Pair of original French wall mounted Posy Bud Sconces.
Made from Glass these sconces date to the 19th Century.
The backs are mirrored glass sent into a leaded metal frame. The mirrors have fine scalloped edges and are oval in shape.
Each sconce has a fixed glass point for mounting of the vases.
Each vase is made from fine glass with a plaster mounted brass spigot which is keyed to keep the vases in position when mounted onto the mirrored backs.
At the back the sconces have original painted finish and each has a hanging eye.
Used to wall mount posies and buds setting the flowers off really well against the mirrored backs.
The backs are 20 Cm x 13 Cm
Vase rim is 9 Cm Diameter
Off the wall is 16 Cm

Signs of life to backs and hanging eyes.
Very minor movement of Brass spigots.
Original 19th Century condition with signs of age and use.
