From Aubade Lingerie de Luxe: Blue Eternal Collection: DARL, Style IA19. This collection is rich, and mysterious with its deep double layers of purple fine mesh and yet playful with the beautiful lilac Macrame lace flowers. The Bra:
This moulded, quarter cup, W shaped under-wired bra, has a really interesting shape, it is moulded to rise up from the under wires and just cover the nipples and this moulded section is lined inside and out with the lilac satin fabric so it is amazingly soft against the nipples. The underarm section and bottom of the outer cups have an additional double layer of the soft purple mesh which hangs down over the centre like a cowl neckline does. So, you can if you want, let it hang or depending on your outerwear, just tuck it inside the top of the moulded cups and it still has an interesting cowl look with its soft twist in the middle. A separate lilac Macrame Lace panel of flowers with a softer lace filling of fine cobweb lace, is applique'd over the outer left hand underwire, rising upwards with a flower bud covering the join at the top the cup, where the straps start.
The body, wings and back:
Sumptuous lilac satin covers the underwires, the wings and back, the sheen of which contrasts beautifully with the deep purple sheer mesh cowl. The wings and back are unlined. There is no underband. Outside the wings and back, the satin is folded under and secured to the flat lilac elastic inside with fine lilac zig-zag stitching. The bra fastens with three double rows of steel hooks and eyes on lilac fabric.
The Straps:
The front straps are in three separate oval lilac elasticated bands, sewn together under the top of the moulded cups, the under arm section of which is edged inside with a band of lilac flat elastic, to which the straps are sewn. At the back, these three strands are looped over a steel ring.
The back straps are in flat lilac elastic with a horizontal ribbed pattern and a satin sheen, these loop through the top steel ring and adjust downwards with a steel butterfly slider, at the bottom they are sewn between the satin of the back and the flat elastic edging the inside of the top.
The fabric is 70%Polyamide, 18%Polyester, 12%Elasthane, and please hand wash gently at 30 degrees with gentle detergent, use no bleach, do not steam, do not dry clean or tumble dry. New and unused. Made in Tunisia. The retail price was £97.65.
