Up for sale is a King "Flair" Trumpet for advanced musicians! This was purchased from the original owner who has not played this trumpet on a regular basis in over a decade - it is still playable currently but requires a good cleaning/overhaul to make it ready for everyday use.

It will need cleaned, oiled, and rubber stops need replaced as they are deteriorating.

I was told this is considered a Silver Flair 1055T with a .462 Bore - The only markings we could find is where the mouth piece slides in it has "Flair" inscribed. The serial number is : 460087 which dates this piece back to the 1970's. Has a nice silver plated finish, that looks like it will polish nicely.

We did not attempt to clean / polish this in fear or doing any damage to the piece. I did not see any dents in the piece; however, the rim of the bell is slightly misshaped (hard to see in the pics, not bad just wanted to make note of it.) Also, I am aware the front slide is not fully seated - it moves in and out, it is tight so we could not get it to go all the way in due to old grease preventing it from sliding in tightly.

This is a great trumpet for someone who enjoys restoring high-end vintage instruments. 

It is being sold AS IS in its current condition with No Returns. It would make for an amazing trumpet with the proper care it needs.

Original case is included and mouthpiece - these could also use a good cleaning.
