IXO set out to change the world of die-cast model cars by developing some of the most advanced manufacturing techniques in the world. Operating from a state of the art factory near Shenzen in China under the brand Sonic International (Toys) Ltd, IXO has quickly gained a reputation for producing top quality collectors pieces.

This model depicts a 1971 Volvo 144. The 144 model made a decisive contribution to establishing Volvo's image worldwide. Extremely robust and safe, the 144 was introduced in 1966 with a 1778cc 4-cylinder engine. But the real success came with the next series (1985cc 4-cylinder engine in production since 1968). Options available include an automatic gearbox and self-locking differentials. The 144 went out of production in 1974.

Excellent pre-owned condition, in original box and with plastic display case. Outer card box has very minor wear, but no serious rips or splits. Plastic display case has no cracks or serious scratches. Model itself is clean and excellent condition. See photos - all photos show actual item.
