Warm greetings from Japan. Thank you very much for visiting our listing.

Jose Ramirez I, the founder of the Ramirez workshop, passed away in 1923.
His second son was active as a musician in South America, but after his father's death he returned to Madrid and took over the family business.
At that time, there were about three craftsmen, and the workshop was much smaller than it was in its heyday.
His disciples include the famous Marcel Barbero.
After that, he continued to produce until his death in 1956.
The works of the second generation retain the last scent of the good old Spanish guitar.

At that time, Ramirez II had six grades, and this one is considered to be the top model because it has an ebony fingerboard.
The neck is made of the highest quality wood. The mahogany is probably Honduran mahogany due to its intersecting three-dimensional grain.

Ramirez II was a minor player because there were only a few in Japan, but in recent years it has been gaining acclaim in Japan, with an inexpensive model with a rosewood fingerboard several years ago.

This instrument is extremely lightweight at approximately 1.4 kg ( 3 lbs. ) and the body is small and thin, making it easy to play.
The resonance is quite low, between F and F# (slightly closer to F).
The overtones are modest and the tone is simple.
The volume is not very loud, but the core feels strong and dense.
It has a thick bass, a strong and relaxed treble, and a well-separated midrange.
It is easy to make changes in strength and tone, and is particularly attractive for soft tones.
