A brilliant genuine antique Leather Chesterfield style 3 seater Sofa. Upholstered with high-quality brown leather and has an iconic Chesterfield high back with wings and deep button tufting.The sofa is made with a sturdy wooden frame and filled with foam.
The feet are wheel based allowing for easy moving.
We've had the sofa for 10 years and the previous owners had owned it for over forty years so its at least 50 years old that we know of and may be older.
It's 190cm in length, 90cm in height, and 90cm in width, it provides quite a large seating area and we comfortably sat three people on it over the years.
As to be expected with an antique there is wear and tear. The under-cushion fabric lining as come away (see photos), however this is not visible when the cushions are on. Theres is the expected leather patina but it's been well loved and looked after with the leather treated with balm.
We have also had the left arm professional repaired which means there is a subtle colour difference on that patch although isn't hugely noticeable (please see photos).
It's really comfortable to sit in, look amazing and has been a great addition to our home.
