Estate sale find.

Chair has been wiped down with linseed oil by myself. I’m not sure if the darker finish is original to the chair or was added at some point.

Very unique style with the arm rest. The center spindle is a metal rod use to help strengthen everything up.

I can’t find a makers mark on these specific chair but ones I found similar online are dated 1900-20s.

Chair is sturdy and supports weight fine. The arm rest do move a little bit I believe the movement is original to the chair.

If you noticed the right arm is missing a wood cap that would cover the rod. Is not too noticeable unless you are looking closely.

Overall a very unique piece and will look great displayed or even used.

-16 3/4” Long

-17” wide

Chair could be cleaned a little better as it has some light white spots here/there. Mainly the seating area.
