A late 19th Century gothic Arts and Crafts lectern that has book shelves reading/ writing slope And little locked cupboard, embellished with stylised motives of the Arts and crafts period. It is pegged with oak dowels and closely related or influenced by Burgess, Shapper and Petter, Liberty's or other designer/ retailers of the period. The display props are not included, for show only.

Condition, the oak has evidence of old lacquer and been lightly sanded, lock is keyless, old wormholes and dark marks, possibly nails.. Generally requires sympathetic attention.

Measuring approximately 33 inches high 20 inches wide by 13 inches deep.
