This flatware set was found in a storage unit. I will do my best to try to describe it. There are 46 pieces of Gorham sterling silver Melrose that look like they match and there are 26 pieces of various other sterling that are by Towle sterling, Roger’s and Alvin. For a combined total of 72 pieces. The box is very heavy and solid, but the box does have some wear on it and a piece of the wood is cracked on the top as shown in photos. Please use photos above to determine condition for yourself. When they were found in a storage unit, each piece of silverware was individually wrapped in a tissue inside the box. They obviously will not be shipped like that. I unwrap them to determine what they were.
